Ann in Cameron Highlands !

Short vacation to Cameron Highlands over the weekends @ 2 days 1 night. Simply loved the cool weather which is very much differ from those in Penang. Enjoyed the scenic hilly view... breathtaking. Plants everywhere....cactus with flowers, huge roses of various colours, other kinds of flowers (don't know names), and not forgetting the mascot of Cameron @ STRAWBERRY. Got the first hand chance to handpick our own strawberries right from the plant itself in the farm. Truly an experience for my son. He enjoyed harvesting his own fruit. transforming into a temporary farmer....! Yours truly ate almost 3kg of strawberry. It such juicy when eaten fresh unlike those sold on the supermart shelves in Pg.

Vege..fresh and crunchy. Tomatoes,broccoli, Choy Sam, ....etc. Had a piping hot charcoal steamboat dinner full of vege. Minus the seafood..miserable pieces of chicken meat and prawns. Crab is substitute with crabmeat balls, no squid but sotong balls, no pork but meatballs.....however the delicious fresh vegetables make it worth. A variety of them....
Hopefully no pesticides which I doubt. Steamboat at one of the chinese restaurant in Brinchang @ RM20 per head.

A visit to the tea plantation...spectacular view of the hilly terrain. The greens of vaious shades...! A sip of the freshly brew tea on a cool weather with the background view of the tea plants....spells "Amazing".
