Wanted an economical lunch but also wanted the makan place to have a nice ambience. Gone to SOHO, English Pub & Restaurant @ Autocity as they are promoting a set lunch.
We didn't have much choice...only 5 types. I mean we decided to opt for the offer sets which is RM6.80 per dish.
The waiter recommended this one...Shepherd’s Pie to me. according to him, it's an traditional English dish. It's covered with mashed potatoes and the bottom is layered with minced lamb meat. It's quite delicious as the meat wasn’t that dry after baking and the juices were still noticeable. However, the lousy part was the green peas as side dish....I dislike this greens. Tasteless....have to eat them with thousand island.
My friends ordered Herbs spaghetti, Homemade burger and Grilled Chicken in black pepper sauce.
The spaghetti...nothing extraordinary. And the burger comes with lots of french fries (worth lo). The grilled chicken ..nice as the meat is tender and succulent. Minus the black pepper..the chicken tastes good. The black pepper had this overpowering flavor and overwhelming smell.
After makan, we stayed for a while to chit chat. Enjoy our bowl of garden salad. Girls can really talk...without reliasing...we sat there for 2 hours. Phewwwww..
