When those yummy dishes satisfied my tummy, I totally forgotten about the pain on my eyes. Such a wonderful pain killer....!
Im Ee's sambal petai worth mentioning over and again coz I could finish three bowls of rice with just it's gravy. The aroma...and the crispiness of the beans coated with sambal udang...really leave one mesmerising with saliva.
According to Wikipedia, Petai's scientific name is Parkia speciosa. This 'stink bean' is a plant of the genus Parkia Fabaceae family.
Petai has a rather peculiar smell which usually create a 'bomb' in the loo ! Not only that...the mouth, breath and gas...STINKS. Unmentionable.
When it goes in...SEDAP..TASTY but when it comes out...poison !!!!!!
Ha...today only brag about petai..petai...why happen to my eyes ya..! Almost forgotten about the pain. Ya..la with good food ...nothing holds a place in my mind. Reported back to school this morning. Had my sunglasses on the entire day. Attracted much attention from my students... Felt the discomfort of teary eyes emitting sticky mucus which causes blur vision ...and the pain.
Luckily, my students were coorperative...whereby they didn't make much noise during my lesson. Most of them are matured enough to indulge in their own activity like playing board games they brought from home and a handful bookworms burying their noses in between novels
and of course a few chatty one grouped together exchanging gossips at the back of the room. Hey..it's 2nd last day of school term.....
Tried to finish up whatever need to be done before year end. Actually I had managed to do whatever necessary ......final touch up.
