I loved this song. Very much.  Never grew tired listening to it over and again. And the two handsome singer which I adore.....
Those were the time when I was a carefree teenager.  Remember the boy group "WHAM" ?  George Michael was a great hunk then (not now) ....together with his partner Andrew Ridgely.  This British duo releases this single some time in 1984.

"Last Christmas"......loved this song to bits cause it gave me a nostalgic feeling.  I experienced my very first infatuation in this song.  I had my very first dance in this song.  I held a guy for the first time in this song. A lot of firsts came in this song. Was a young 16 year old then...

Vividly remembering me having a slow dance with a guy (the one I had puppy love with).  He was my senior from a neighbouring school.  Am from an All-Girls School and him from an all-boys school. The only time we get to see the opposite sex was no other than our school gatherings like campfire or Leo's Installation functions. 

I remembered it was during one of our Leo Club function in our school hall.....he walked up to me asking me for a dance.  My young heart was pounding tripled.  A slow number...his hands on my waist and mine on his shoulders.  We danced under the watchful eyes of our teacher advisors.  Bear in mind, one of them is a nun..Sister G.  Any hanky panky tricks was totally NIL.  Those days we were such naive youngters unlike today's teens.

He was my first...the guy I admired from afar...!  I daren't express my feelings. I was the invisible admirer...admiring him for a distance.  Secretly loving him.....scribbling his names all over my diary and books.  Never got to keep a photo of him.  Never got a change to date him.  Never got his phone numbers (those days mana ada handphone).  Never.....
He was simply my idol. 


We lost touch after leaving school.  A few years back, I bumped into him.  He is happily married with a few kids in tow.  He had expanded side ways with a huge pot belly.....hmmmmmmm my gorgeous hunk no longer exist now.  However...I was so truly madly infatuated with him more than 2 decades ago.  Hahhhhhhh...a young sweet 16 !  So innocent, so naive...so fragile..so pure.
