Just got back from "Mesyuarat Pemantapan Guru Perpustakaan dan Media" which started at 2pm. All the GPMs from 213 schools both secondary and primary from mainland Penang (Seberang Perai -Utara, Tengah dan Selatan) gathered at SMK Pokok Sena hall for our annual meeting.
Beginning January 2008, all meetings and courses for teachers must be held in the afternoon (2pm onwards). This is to ensure that teachers don't leave the school in the morning and causes interuptions to their core business @teaching. Therefore, the students won't be left out in their studies due to the absence of their teachers. However, rugi la for us...coz we have to sacrifice our afternoons to attend courses. It's no joke...having to rush from school (after our lessons) and drive to another destination to attend meetings or courses. Pretty hectic and tiring lo.
For instance; today, I had lessons from 9.15-11.35 am. in a stretch. After that, I went up to my library to settle some paper work. Left the school around 12.35 pm and headed home for a quick shower/lunch. Later, I drove to SMK Pokok Sena which was a 45 mins journey (meeting).
The meeting adjourned at about 4.45pm. I had to endure a massive jam. The traffic really was snail-crawl and alomost to a standstill due to an accident between a bike and a car. I only reached home almost 6pm. Phew...what a tiring day...wasn't it ?
And a while ago, I received a call from my boss asking me to attend a 3 days course starting tommorow. From 2pm- 5pm. This means that I have to attend school in the morning and then go for the course. Phew...another hectic week for me. I'm still not sure what is the course all about as I have yet to see the letter . But I guess it must be related to Pusat Sumber.
Now my question..where on earth do I have the time to do revision for my exams.....?
Something is bugging me today..I feel very upset..but I'm unable to let it out..! I won't be wrting about it here in my blog. No sharing of private matters.
Perhaps....I will just go to sleep and hope everything will be fine when I open my eyes in the morning.
