Insomnia

Temporary Insomnia. Yours truly didn't sleep a wink..all night. The culprit...must be that Old Town Cappuccino.
Met up with a few friends last evening. Though not a kaki kopi but gotta surrender to my friends' invitation and throat down a small amount of coffee. Was precisely 'kiasu' as I didn't want to show my allergy to caffeine.

I didn't expect a small cup could caused such distress...

Just couldn't believe that several sips resulted in so much agony...haha

Had been tossing rigorously... wrestling like a python al over the bed....almost the entire night. And yet still encounter problem falling asleep...

This morning when I was invigilating in the exam room...both my eyes felt pretty exhausted. Luckily, the candidates were a group of 'special teachers' whom were unable to see me. And thanks to the tick-tack sound of the Brailles..I managed to stay awake.

Feeling exhausted now. Lets just catch 40 winks.

Great delivery

It was indeed a great presentation....

Although, I started off with sweaty palms, pounding heartbeat, nervous breakdown....all kinds of panic stricken attacks...but some how I managed to elevate all these threats.

Many of my colleagues see me as a person who can conduct fairly good presentation… but in reality, I’m just lucky to have a fairly good command of English and thus can express myself better in a presentation.

Usually, my greatest fear is getting tongue-tied in the middle of the session and loses focus. That’s when all the points I've prepared dissapeared from my head.

Before I could even say “um” and the fear of being a complete idiot starts to sink in fast… believe me..I had been there, done there many a times...

Some how, I managed to overcome these problems...gradually after much practices. Lots of trials N errors...and making a fool of myself. My facial skin had developed it's thickness over time...

A few tips...

1. Plan of outlines.

2. Clear of your talking points.

3. Focused on the objective of the presentations...

4. Do some research, be aware of facts and figures.

5. Be firm and confident so that your audience don't loose their attention on you.

Throughout my persentation, I just kept one thing in my mind: Be confident. That's the vital point. Overall, my audience gave me thumb-ups.....an happy for that achievement.

Ann boleh...

The Day

The day has arrived. I'm here at JMTI to conduct an in-house trainning with my fellow colleagues. The first half of the morning, we had a briefing from an officer from the Institute about "Blogging". Well...a bit bored as yours truly have already been involved in this blogging thing since a long time ago. Looks like I know more than him....(blowing my own saxophone..la)
At this moment, I'm worried on my slot which I need to present later today. Am I able to deliver my facts well? Will my colleagues gain inputs from me? Are they going to get bored just like what I'm feeling right now? A lot of questions circulating in my mind....
Perhaps...I need to have the confidence in myself.

Assignments handed up

Am glad that I've done with all my assignments for this semester. Summit all of them to my lecturers respectively this afternoon. What a relieve...another load taken off my shoulders. My coursework assignments are in the safe hands of my tutors...hopefully I'll obtain good grades for my tedious work. Perhaps a 33 upon 35...! I need marks so that it could at least covered up my exams results if I were to fair badly in it ....

As I've already summit all my assignments for this semester...I shall henceforth get myself prepared for my in-coming final exams (April). Hopefully, I can cover a few chapters during this hectic school holidays....which I doubt as I hv a whole loads of other errands to run.

Packed Holidays

The mid semester break is here...one week from 16th~22nd Mac.
Although term break has started but I don’t feel like I’m in a holiday at all.

How can I be excited when I’ve piles of work to do during the holiday? In fact, I've a long list of jobs awaiting for me....
I really want to enjoy my holidays but how can I..? sigh...

You see...as usual I've to attend my uni tutorials on Sundays. On Monday, I'll be conducting in-house trainning with my teachers @ colleagues. It'll be held at the Malaysia-Japan Technical Institute in Bukit Minyak. It offered us a full facilities like computers and wi-fi. The bset part, it's FOC.

Next, for 3 days, I'll be invigilating PTK exams which is a compulsory exams for teachers @ promotions purposes. As I've already passed this exam last year, I needn't hv to sit for it. Although, I'll be paid ....but I would rather stay home and enjoy the holidays with my boy. My Ketua pengawas told us yesterday during the briefing, "as an invigilator, we're paid worst than a Bangla.."...RM30 per day (how sad can that be?) Essentially ...Not worth as we have to prepare the exams rooms like arrange the desk/chairs and paste the candidates slips....On exams days, we'll have to arrive at least 1 hour b4 to get things done....sigh...

Looking forward to Friday and Saturday, will be taking a short trip with my boy....either Ipoh or Alor Setar....just for makan and retreat. Any recommendations?
I want my boy to have a well deserved two days break....
