2Love N BLove

Oh... that wonderful feeling loved and being loved.  The dizzying magical enchanted feeling That dizzying magical enchanted feeling – no proper semantic can describe.

Wake up..Ann.  Wake up.  "Love is an active verb, it's an action not just merely feelings.  Love is a doing.  More often than not, I often treat love as something that befalls me, something that comes naturally.  Totally wrong.

In actual fact, "Love is something that needed to be nurture, grow and develop.  By taking the actions of love that grows the feeling of love."

I liked this phrase.  It reflects my current condition, what I'm going thru and what I'm experiencing at this moment.  2Love N BLove...

Sunday Lunch

Enjoyed a threesome buffet lunch at Tao Restaurant (Autocity) on Sunday afternoon.  Sort of celebrating Ah Boy's bday...

Admit that it’s pretty unhealthy to eat in such a-way. Stuffing food into one’s body as if it was our last meal. (Head shaking)..hmmm pretty bad. Bad act….very unhealthy especially at my age now !!  My tummy felt bloated the entire day and till now I’m still feeling the fullness.  Gotta visit Guardian for a bottle of ENO....to relieve the discomfort.  Just made myself a glass of lime juice (limau nipis tanpa gula).

Hmmmm....Over eating may kills. But ‘once in a blue moon’…tidak apa la.

So, back to the food story… we had wide range of foods to choose from. Authentic Japanese cuisine. A variety to pick from the menu …just order and eat.  Eat as much as your stomach could accomodate...!  Gile makan.

The cold cuts like sashimi are my favourite. The fresh thin raw slices of salmon, tuna, squid,mackerel..oh simply irresistible.

Not forgetting the Scallop, Abalone…yummy

Grilled Salmon teriyaki (Ah Boy’s fav)..just to name a few

And a whole load more..a long list to mention here.
Check this out.

Luckily all the dishes were served in small portion at every single order. Unlimited order, eat till the stomach can witstand !!! The waiters/waitresses were excellent in service…orders were prompt and we didn’t wait for long for our orders to arrive. Thumb ups to the staffs.

Didn’t have time for photographing coz too engrossed with the makan-ing.  Only realised my poor camera after savouring all the goodies..... Look at the messy table after our eating spree......It's me, Ah Boy and Him.

My son's Birthday

Ah Boy is 10 today.  This year, we celebrated it at home on a small scale.  The theme is "Fast Food"...I had the pizza, mushroom soup, garlic bread & cheese sticks delivered to my house.  When I received the food and worry that it might not be enough for 'us' ...therefore, I went to the nearby KFC for a Colonel Ori dinner plate and cheesy wedges (Ah Boy's favourite).

The choc mousse cake was too rich for me...esp the toppings icing.  The entire cake would goes into Ah Boy's tummy.  And it'll take a couple of days for him to finish the entire cake !

We enjoyed the makan in the comfort of our home....very cosy.  All of us enjoyed the meal tremendously.  After the 'sumptious meal', Ah Boy and him played monopoly, meanwhile I read a book in between my role as the banker. We munched groundnut and biscuits (CNY left overs).

Papadam & Emping
Found this at the school backyard and transformed it into edible dish

Chap Goh Mei

εδΊ”ζš  Chap Gog Mei...refers to the fifteenth and final day of the Chinese New Year celebration.  This occasion is marked by celebrations of makan-ing (feasting) and various festivities like praying.  It is also the chinese version of valentine's day.  Instead of the cupid arrows, the tangerine oranges played a major role in match making !!!

As for me....It's just a day just like any other day.  Nothing significant about this night except that I do notice the crowd and massive traffic jams everywhere.  Went to a chinese temple to join in the excitement and fun.  It's just a stone throw away from my place.  Paying respect to the deities at the temple.

Huge giant joss sticks caught my attention though.....wow big giants but very beautiful ones.  Admiring the matching colours of pink and red.  At a closer inspection, the designs are of 'dragon & phoenix'.  Very unique.  And salute the craftmen for such intricate art work !!!  What a waste as these handsome joss sticks will be burnt to ashes by tomorrow morning ....
By the way, each stick belongs to an individual as there's a note written in chinese of the said owner of the joss stick being offered to God.  Seeking prosperity, weatch, health and etc.

The 1st full moon for this year...hmm..that's the best my 'cheapo camera' could capture.

HAPPY CHAP GOH MEI

Cuberish Alarm Clock

Ah Boy experienced difficulty getting up every morning for school.  Solution...need two alarm clocks to wake him up.  Bought a cube~ish clock that glows in the dark.  Sold at pasar malam for 10 ringgit but after much bargaining..RM9.  Okay la...one ringgit pun boleh lah.

It's alarm is in the form of  melodious "twinkle-twinkle lil stars" and "Ting Tong".  Very cute sounds.  Ah Boy simply loves it.  He now wakes up before the clock rings.  Ahhaaaaa....it works la.  No need for poor mummy to scream out her lungs for the wake-up call.
