Ray of hope...

Felt rather down today.  Missed the boat over some trivial matters.  Although it's a small thing but the lost is rather huge.  Seniority, monetary and all....I LOST them over trivial things which I did.  Once done cannot rewind.....!  I've got to accept my fate.  But the unfairness....hmmmm
Though I felt the pain...the stabbing pain but I'll have to be patience....just wait....time will tell. 

Real reward is awaiting behind the mountain of hope...hopefully so.  Whenever the darkness falls, the light of hope drives away the shadows...I hope...I hope..

Time will tell...Time....hmmmm....time...

Crazy Weather

This crazy weather makes my body goes haywired.  One moment, it was so humid hot and next it rains dogs N cats.  My immune system becoming weak....crippled by this mad weather.  The unpredictable temperature creates a mess to my system.  My blood circulation also went berserk !  My body gotten confussed....the barometer goes cookoo....

Am suffering from a terrible sore throat right now.  The normal process of slowwing my saliva seems so hard...OUCH !  Guggled with salt water.  Drink coke sprinkled with salt.  Drink coconut water.....all kinds of secret remedies...everything done and experienced!  But no effect...

When I lost my voice means that I'm unable to work proper.  Without my golden voice, I can't teach well.  I strained my voice box each time I talk.  Therefore, I relied on chalk minus the talk.  Luckily it's exams week, therefore I needn't use my voice much.  Resorted to use the cane to control the discipline....

Arggg.......what a mad mad weather. 

Happy Teachers' Day

Hmmm....Teachers' Day.  My 17th time, which I celebrated officially as a certified teacher..haha.  Nothing special about today as kids nowadays no longer appreciate their teachers like the olden days.  This noble profession is being a 'boo boo' to many.  

Overheard a conversation between a mother to her child, "Son, if you don't study hard, you'll end up as a 'Lau Tse'....then you 'baru chye si'...!!!!!"  ......oh oh...what a down graded job huh...

How many of todays' kids remember their teachers...?  Do they praise their teachers when they excel in their exams ?  Have they ever show their gratitute to their teachers ? Do they.....?  How would the kids respect their teachers when they had been 'brainwash' by their parents otherwise..? 

That's something which we teachers need to ponder on especially on this auspicious day ....

Are we really commited in our teaching job ?

Probably due to the many extra unneccesary workloads which had sway us away from the core business ~"Teaching".  We're too exhausted.   

Do the interest of 'educating' still flaming in our soul ?

Hmmm........this question had been mulling in my mind.

I totally lost the myjo the past months. No inspirations to write each time I log in.  My mind went blank....

It was actually my uni semester break.  Thus I'm only busy with my school related matters.  Therefore, I can't complain about lacking of time.  So where did my myjo gone ? On vacation..?

Ah Boy wasn't well the past few days.  Cough and fever.  Blame it on the unpredictable weather...humid with occasionally rain.  Hot most of the time, extremely hot.  Dehydration....ya Ah Boy often lack of fluid coz he's too lazy to drink water....if only I'm around to nag him.  "Boy drink water..." The dryness causes some bad terrible ulcers on his gums @ mouth.  Boiled some barley and crysanthemum tea for him but he's always too stubborn take such cocotions....
He dislikes....

Sleepless night babysitting Ah Boy, lacking of rest makes me go cuckoo.  My mind goes blank, probably tired....My alertness depreciated.  That's the reason behind the disappearance of myjo....

Promise to be back when myjo is back.

English can be pretty confusing...huh ?  Got so sick with work....therefore posting some rubbish here.

Learning Statistics

Had been busy with my research the past week.  Already completed my intervention projects with my group of respondents in school @ my Year 5 pupils @ my group of guinea pigs....Thanks for their supports...they had been a great help to me in completing my research. 

Now I have a heap of documents @ worksheets, pre/post test papers, questionnaires to facilitate my reaserch findings.  Chapter 4 - Research Results and Findings...hmmmm...I have move into some statistic..intepreting figures into meaningful understandable statements. Making sense to these data. It's impossible to to process the numbers manually due to massive numbers.  It's time consuming to calculate using formulas and calculator.  And if done this way, there is prone to be lots of errors. Therefore, am using the aid of computer.  By using SPSS a statistical programme, the results will be more accurate and consistent.  More reliable...

Am still stuck with the figures....
