February 2009

I glanced at the calendar....and it's already 18th February......we're already in the 2nd month of the year. Time moves pretty fast....! Hey..the earth spins extra fast...is it? Did our one and only astronaut done any research on this..? How does it orbit ya .....seems like time is zooming pretty fast !

It's has been a month since I last blog. As usual I had been buried under tons of assignments...a new semester and getting tougher ! Had moved into my major subjects....with lots of theories to analyse...etc.

Besides my studies, my hands are also tied up with my sch job. The new school term means that I have additional workloads. Teaching wasn't such tedious as compared to the clerical work that consumed most of my energy and time. Updating endless files, doing proposals and planning projects for the entire year, ......paperwork's driving me up Mt Everest ! In addition, the arrival of boxes of new books for my library....means I have more work awaiting for me.....processing the new books !

On top of that, am dealing with a new HEADMISTRESS....who knows practically NOTHING but does excellent "Tai Chi". Mouth ordering and finger pointing....that's her best skills !

Only two weeks back, my school hosted the inter states below 12 Netball competition which ran for 4 days. Sunbathing for 4 consecutive days......that's no joke ! With the current dry spell....

Had just recovered from sore throat....and this week, we have to return to the field for our Annual Sports events. Again..one week basking in the field.....!
This time around, I'll make sure I remain under the shade and do some "mouth ordering and finger pointing"....haha..!

Duty calls.....
Ever since January...I had been working 7 days week.....ya...we go back to sch on Sat for co-curricular activities. Last Sat, we had a seminar for parents and parents meet teacher day which took up my entire Sat morning. And the previous Sat, we had PIBG meeting. This Sat, our Sports day.....and next Sat.....?????

Sundays....I attended my uni tutorials ~ 8am ~ 5pm !

I felt the guilt for spending lesser time with my boy. However, am giving him the best quality time at the dinner table everyday. We spent 45 minutes chit chatting and enjoying home cooked meals (prepared by yours truly).......
He has been pretty supportive.....and seldom throw tantrum...Thanks son.

Am anticipating for a long break in the Caribbean sea.......dreaming lah...
