Been doing some house visiting for the past 4 days~ a must-do activity during CNY.
Fun, boring and tired with lots of snacking activities in between. CNY is the time where makan is what we do most besides gambling and watching TV.
Today’s the first day of work after the long Chinese New Year break. Ah.. .... after 4 days of eat, sleep &..... ....now I'm back to work........sigh..! Felt quite reluctant to wake this morning when my alarm clock shrieking...!
Monday morning..as usual, we had our weekly assembly. When the students were singing the National, State and school anthem...I almost dozed off while on standing position. Last night, I couldn't sleep due to all the excitement and fun I had the previous days. After the blah`blah speeches of the headmistress and teacher-on-duty, the students walked into their respective classes. As I didn't have lesson in the first half of the morning, I headed to my work station @ library. There were hefty piles of new books greeting me at the door way. Oh Lord Buddha, please give me the strength to face this mountain of work. And not forgeting the number of books I have to mark later today.
Suddenly out of now-where, my office boy popped in and gave me a memo..."Relief Class".
I got pretty annoyed as I read the slip. "Cikgu Ann, sila ganti Cikgu X.......pada pukul.. ..kelas .......!" This teacher isn't celebrating CNY and she's taking leave today...and me on the other hand turn up for work when this is only the 5th day of my festival. I posed a disgruntled look at the officeboy. I told myself, "Hey..why am I here today..when I have the rights to another day off ?"
Guess..I'll need a couple of days to get back to my working momentum. Sekrang takda mood...
